Nickelback – Breathe
All I ever really wanted was to be the same
Equal treatment never ever comes and here we go again
All I ever really wanted was to be like you
So perfect
So worthless
If I could take it all back think again
I would
Well, yesterday was my first shift at my new job at Canadian Tire. I’m working in the retail business for the first time in my life, and I have to admit I don’t mind it at all. It’s certainly a step above McDonalds. Right now I’m just stocking items, which is really quite simple. For those we don’t know where they are, we can enter the item or serial number into a computer and it’ll say where it’s located.
After I worked I went on a date which went well until the end when the girl said she isn’t looking for a relationship right now, which is too bad because I was really taking an interest in her. Oh well, it’s better she told me now and not later.
Only in a class taught by Maxine does the topic of sex come out of a research question, and we ended up taking a poll question of how many guys and girls would have sex with a famous person and now have anybody know about it, compared with how many wouldn’t but have everybody believe they would. I mentioned the possibility that it could be bad sex which turned some heads. Apparently I’m the only person who believes there is such a thing as bad sex.
Then Sam’s name was mentioned, which isn’t a surprise, but at the same time annoys me. Some things never change, which sucks. For once I’d like to talk to girls who don’t mention Sam when they’re talking about sex. I wish many things would change, but it doesn’t seem like it will. If I was God for a day, I would change many things, like how easily manipulated girls are by guys like Sam, and how easily fooled they are. I also hate being compared to guys like him because we’re nothing alike and we never will be.
Sex aside, I’m going to Vancouver for Danielle’s birthday this weekend which is going to rock. Me, Dale and Kinga are traveling down in my car on Thursday night, and then we’re planning the big night at the club on Saturday night. I’m going to spend some money on getting a fancy souvenir.
